Usage: Burn the dvd2-EUR_2019_VX v3.iso image to a dual-layer DVD-R disc and insert it into the device. The navigator is very picky about disc quality. Burn using CloneCD at minimum speed, and enable the "Weak Sector Enhancement" option.
To enable the radio to accept custom-made discs, you must unlock it using a disc burned from Unlock DVD MFD2.iso (the image is included).

Description : VW vehicles have been equipped with the RNS-510 system as standard since 08/2007.
What's new: Voice control, speed limit, display, parking sensors and rear view camera, 32 GB SDHC card support, screen off, climate control, on-screen clock, RNS when off
The firmware procedure should be as follows:
1. Open the car.
2. DO NOT INSERT THE KEY INTO THE IGNITION!!
3. Using the power button, turn on the RNS-510.
4. Remove the CD or DVD from the RNS-510, if there was one.
5. Load your CD with the new software.
6. The RNS-510 should reboot and after a while ask you to confirm your actions, and then click OK.
7. Wait a couple of minutes and you will get another question, click OK again.
8. The update process will begin, which will take about 55 minutes, during which the RNS-510 will reboot several times, the screen will go out and then turn on, no need to be nervous - be patient!
9. Wait until the download is complete, and the message "You system has been succesfully update! Please....." will appear.
10. The software disc should eject automatically and the RNS-510 will reboot.
Warning: There are cases where volume control, track and station navigation from the steering wheel disappear after updating the firmware. Those with speakerphone have not yet experienced any issues with steering wheel controls after updating the firmware!
Please note: After installation, ALL information on your hard drive (music and maps) remains.

2. Using a disc image burning program, burn the disc to a DVD+RW or DVD-R disc (it is also possible to burn to a CDR disc) at a slow speed (4x for DVD and 16x for CD).
3. Make sure you are using a high-quality disc and set the burning speed to the lowest setting to ensure that no problems occur during the installation process.
Warning: This upgrade will delete your music and/or maps if you have firmware version 1100/1102 installed. The firmware reinstallation process takes approximately 60 minutes.'
